We are looking for personable outside sales professionals to enthusiastically persuade targeted families to participate in TV research as a Nielsen family. The successful individual will build relationships with each of these families during the recruitment process as a
¦MEMBERSHIP REPRESENTATIVE! Membership Representatives make personal visits to potential Nielsen families, in person WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT, and advise them that their participation in the ratings will help represent the television-viewing sample in their area. Nielsen families will have their daily viewing gathered electronically and reported in the Nielsen sample. Cold calling at homes throughout all areas/neighborhoods in the Louisville television viewing area and achieving quarterly recruitment targets is expected. This position will require up to 50% overnight travel based on business need and will allow for a non traditional work schedule, which includes afternoons, evenings and weekends. This unique position with Nielsen Media Research offers the opportunity to make a significant impact to The Nielsen Company Field Operations organization. We provide: -Office in your home, including laptop, printer & blackberry -Company car including gas, maintenance and insurance -Comprehensive benefits package; including medical, dental, vision & 401K effective first day of employment -Paid training program, includes 3-4 weeks in Tampa, FL. Flight, corporate housing and transportation will be provided. -$32,100-$38,000 base salary based on experience & skills demonstrated throughout the selection process and potential for OT. Requirements

In addition to a professional, get-it-done attitude, the successful candidate must possess the following qualities: -Excellent organizational skills -Ability to meet deadlines -Communication proficiency in all formats -Demonstrated success in outside sales -Influencing or persuasion experience -MS Windows experience including Word, Excel and Outlook -College degree or equivalent experience -Ability to travel up to 50% including overnight travel as business needs determine
Preferred: -5+ years sales experience -Fluency in Spanish
