BuzzMetrics offers products to provide insight information based on Consumer Generated Market content. Content harvesting platform is the key component to collect the content data from message board, blogs, usenet and social networks. The technical lead position requires the candidate with strong background with web crawling technology. The preferred candidate should be strong in research and be creative in finding solutions.

Requirements |
- Analyze, design, develop, and test software components to fulfill business requirements
- Participate in project planning and project estimates.
- Maintain contact with business analyst / client for product input and function decisions.
- Ensure software is developed, tested, and documented in accordance with approved Engineering standards and procedures.
-Stay aware of new technology trends; understand the implications of implementing new technology in the current business and technical environment
-Manage and provide architecture and design guidance to team members.
-Troubleshoot defects in the existing and new code
-Execute performance and benchmark testing as needed
Required
-8+ years experience in software development field
-5 years of Java development experience and 3 years of software design experience
-Solid experience using XML/HTML/CSS/DHTML
-Superior problem-solving skills and research capability.
-Strong communication skills
-Able to operate in a constantly changing, fast-paced technological environment.
Desired
-Familiar with C#, .Net
-Experience with Jelly, XLST and JMX
-Experience with web services and Database
